During his visit on January 2 and 3, PM Modi inaugurated the Kochi-Lakshadweep Islands Submarine Optical Fiber Connection, an important step towards enhancing connectivity in the region. 

Additionally, he laid the foundation stone for the renovation of primary health facilities and five model Anganwadi centers, underscoring the government's commitment to advance health care and child care services. 

Additionally, Modi dedicated to the nation several major projects during the visit, showcasing the administration's efforts to promote development and progress in Lakshadweep.
